About HMR

The HMR Program in Cooperation with the University of Kentucky has been helping people in the Lexington area for almost 30 years. Our highly supportive staff of health educators, nurses, and physicians are here to support you through every step of your weight-loss journey.


The Medical Director of our program is L. Raymond Reynolds, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.E. E.C.N.U. Dr. Reynolds, Professor of Internal Medicine at the Division of Endocrinology, is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Metabolism. He practices medicine at both the UK Medical Center and VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Reynolds has been with the HMR Program since 1999 and is Co-Chairman of the HMR Medical Advisory Board.
